When is a Werewolf not a Werewolf?

It's not a literal werewolf, but this story is certainly getting media attention....

Nick, I find it interesting that he can't be found with heat-seeking equipment. I sometimes hear the question that if Manwolves (which are roughly human-sized) exist, why can't they be found by heat signature? Here they KNOW someone is in there and still can't find him. Modern technology does not always win the day.

Thanks Linda, that's a very insightful point indeed.

Great story...certainly not a wolfman, but maybe a wildman ? It would be interesting to found out through archives just how many cases there are on record of dishevelled, woodland-dwelling folk, who could well be mistaken for 'man-beasts'.
