A Beast No More...

Some of you might have seen the story that surfaced a couple of days ago to the effect that the remains of a big-cat - or some other weird beast - had been found washed-up on one of England's beaches.

Well, the reality was somewhat more down-to-earth, as the CFZ found out when a team was quickly dispatched to the area.

And here's CFZ Director Jonny himself to tell you more, via a load of new stories that he has just posted to his own blog.

Here's the links:

Great article on the Unicorn, Nick. To be honest, I have no idea why the Unicorn is considered so "impossible." This is not a composite creature like the Chimera or Griffin; it's a deer-like creature with one single horn. I'm not saying this is a "magical" creature that clears poison rivers with its horn or kneels submissively in from of virgins---I'm not even saying it exists NOW (or that it is a Horse, for that matter). I'm simply saying there is compelling evidence that a creature that roughly corresponds to the description of the Unicorn may have existed at one time in our history. At least, there is evidence the ancients may have surgically manipulated certain animals trough surgery to achieve certain effects---witness the Dr. Dove experiments in Maine in the early 20th century. Also, Oberon Zell-Ravenheart's Succesful grafting of a single horn to a goat twenty-odd years ago. So it IS possible.
