The Snow-Beast

Well, last night a sizeable fall of snow hit the little English village of Woolsery where CFZ Director Jon Downes and his distinctly better-half, Corinna, make their home. And, as it appears from this breaking story, something has been prowling around the area...

Here's the link....

And, of course, click on the You Tube video above (where you can see CFZ stalwart Graham Inglis hot on the trail) for more on this modern-day equilavent of the strange tale of the Devil's Footprints.

Probably a mink, as people said.
Well, worth investigating, though, Nick.
Could it be the "Devil?" ;)

I don't think it's mink, maybe a rabbit or large hare, althoughseveral explanatikns have been forwarded, and all valid, such as sheep or a bipedal 'entity'.

The stride doesn't appear to be that of a "diagonal walker", but it is hard to tell without seeing the tracks in person. I seem to remember that the 1855 tracks were also in strange places - on roof tops and up the sides of walls.

I've found this story which is an interesting parallel, but which I haven't been able to confirm:
