For those who may be interested, I'll be on Coast to Coast on Sunday night through the early hours of Monday morning talking about my new book, There's Something in the Woods.

I might as well leave this here since I don't see a blog that my question really pertains to. Have you ever or do you have any interest in investigating ghosts? That seems to be one of the only paranormal topics not covered by your books or here in your blogs.
Does that hold any interest for you? I'm thinking with your level of commitment you could put 'Ghosthunters' to absolute shame! Especially Ghost Hunters International which seems to be the phoniest thing on tv and since you hail from England you could speak with authority about the area. There you go, Nick Redferns British Isles Ghosthunting Adventure!

No, I've never really done any research into ghosts. I think the subject is very interesting; however, I'll be the first to admit that from an investigative perspective, I know little about the subject.
In my opinion, one of the leading figures in the ghost-hunting world is a good friend of mine named Joshua P. Warren.
Josh has done some outstanding work in this area, and I've worked on a few projects with him.
But yes, Britain has a big history of ghostly encounters that would indeed make for good studies.
I say go for it mister! The next feather in your cap, GhostHunter extrordinaire, Nick Redfern.

Maybe there is a yet to be identified connection between crypotzoology and 'ghosts'.

There are actually a few UK stories of people believing that ghostly black dogs are the souls of the dead returned in animal form, so that may be a perfect example!
See, that is just what I'm talking about. Go Nick go! I have to say that I do enjoy reading about ghosts but believe that this phenomena is science but just so far unexplained. It would be great fun if you concentrated your energies on this topic since it is one of my favorites in the category of things that remain a mystery.
