Bigfoot: Even Weirder!

Here's an even stranger new Bigfoot story: one dealing with the Patterson Film.

I don't know what to make of this.
Honestly, I don't. This is right out of "Paranoia" magazine. Heck, one never knows...

What do you think, Nick?

Personally, I think it's so odd and controversial that a "wait and see" attitude is probably best in terms of seeing if any of it (or some of it, or none of it) is verifiable.

I agree with Nick. This certainly pegs the old "weirdness meter", and it may just be SO weird that there could be some truth in some of it.

Little update, Nick---

There's a discussion over at Cryptomundo regarding this right now. Needless to say, most are saying "ridiculous" and "impossible."

John L. Johnsen of Grendel Films published a lengthy statement that Loren reproduced on his site regarding Davis's origin of his theory regarding the "massacre".
Brought out thoughtful and ocassionally passionate responses from Cryptomundians.

Personally I've come to agree that it is a big leap of imagination for Davis to come to the conclusion he did simply from a few frames of the PG film---BUT,if you read Gimlin's supposed reaction to the accusation all he did was "looked down at the floor" and "neither confirmed nor denied" what Johnsen was saying. That is supposedly what he did, of course---we only have Johnsen's word for it. Like I said over at Cryptomundo, somebody needs to ask Gimlin directly. I know Gimlin is supposedly an honorable and trustworthy man and this sounds WAY too out there, but to be honest, one cannot take people's words anymore. Weirder things have happened in this world.
Trust, but verify.
I ultimately agree with you, Nick...let's see what happens.

Sorry for the length of this but this is a geniunely interesting, very weird story. Weird enough that Cryptomundo is debating passionately about it.

Hey C:
No need to apologize re the length; I'm always pleased to get lengthy comments.
Yeah, I saw this, and it's definitely (in my view) one of the more controversial Bigfoot developments recently.
I was actually just going to ldo a post based on the Anomalist's post on the controversy, so that will be up in a few minutes.
It's definitely going to be interesting to see how this story develops!
