Cannock Weirdness: When Will It End?

Well, the high-strangeness (namely sightings of werewolves, Bigfoot-style creatures, and large, mysterious cats) that has descended upon England's Cannock Chase woods in recent months continues at a steady pace.

As does a range of other activity of a weird nature, including yet more UFO reports and spooky activity.

Next week, I'll be updating you on the most recent "creature cases" from the Chase.

In the meantime, here's what else is - and has been - going on in the area.

Story 1.

Story 2.

Dear Nick
The Chase does seem to have a long history of UFO activity, I've just read Cosmic Crashes, the account related by the chap who worked for ATV was fascinating, very strange indeed.
Regards Matt

Hi Matt

Yeah, that story re the crash was a weird one. I dug and dug for a couple of years afterwards but could never find any more on it. But his background checked out fine.

For me, the 1964 crash story was more interesting - particularly re the apparent telephone monitoring of Harold South.

There's some definite weirdness on the Chase. I've remarked before that it's almost like a classic "window area" for weird activity.
