That's really sad. In the late '90s a chap I knew bought the rights to the movie 'The legend Of Boggy Creek', before it became popular again, and I had the pleasure of talking to Smokey. His book, 'Smokey & The Fouke Monster' is great too. A great character who was embroiled in an intriguing monster mystery.
