That's a very interesting question! I didn't think about that! I'll see if I can find out. Given that Mothman was associated with disaster at Point Pleasant, WV in the 1960s, it would be intriguing to see if the timeline fits with a Mothman type manifestation at the time of the Shuttle explosion...

By any chance, did it happen close to the date of the Challenger explosion?
