Last night I was interviewed by the guys at the Parafactor show - and a cool time was had by all. We covered a lot of areas, including the issue of flesh-and-blood vs. the paranormal when it comes to crypto-creatures; my thoughts on what the Loch Ness Monster might be; the nature of werewolves; my various expeditions to Puerto Rico in search of Chupacabras; and much more.
If you want to listen to the show, here's the link.
Hearing your Parafactor interview, Nick. Great stuff!
ReplyDeleteOne question though: what's this video you were discussing with these guys re. some "silver back-like gorilla creature"? Where can one find it?

ReplyDeleteHere's the footage:

There are a couple of things that make me suspicious - like the Blair Witch-style ending.
However, it's definitely interesting; as the creature looks like a bulky ape to start with; but appears to "morph" into a type of dog-like animal.
Weird...
Thanks, Nick. Loren posted a few Youtube links at Cryptomundo this weekend.
ReplyDeletesome folks there think we're looking at a bear attack. To me, the head of the "beast" is not large enough for a bear.
The most striking thing about it is the speed displayed by the "creature", I think that's the only thing that prevents most folks to dismiss this as a simple hoax —and I'm one of them.
What's your take on the most recent footage recently discovered which supposedly is connected to this video? you know, the one with the "partially-eaten" upper torso?
RPJ:
ReplyDeleteEr...I haven't actually seen that! Is there a link to it?
Nick,

Loren linked it during the weekend.
Many thanks! This is indeed very interesting; and it does appear to be connected to the original film.
ReplyDeleteTwo things occur to me:
1. The fact that new footage has surfaced is kind of odd - it makes me think that these are "teaser"-style releases, giving us a bit at a time. This suggests some sort of motive - movie promotion? A "Gotcha!" style hoax? Who knows?
2. On the other hand, in both this film (the cop), and the earlier one (the driver) you can see faces. If this is new footage meant to look old, and people are playing the parts of the cop etc, then it shouldn't be too difficult for someone to be finally identified as the actor. It's interesting that this is in stark contrast to the Alien Autopsy film, where everyone's face is conveniently hidden.
Please pardon the tardiness of this comment, but just wanted to let you know that I had a blast belatedly listening to the show, especially your segment. Thanks for the link.
