Neil Arnold's research into sightings of big-cats in his native county of Kent, England is profiled in this new article. Nice one, Neil!

I wonder what the increase of Big Cat Sightings in Britain signifies, Nick? I mean, symbolically, what could be the meaning of this?

Well, about the only thing we can say with any certainty, is that Big Cat sightings in the UK are now at HUGE levels.

Cryptidsrus, sightings usually increase in the Winter as vegetation thins out but for me 2008 has been a rather quiet year for my research, around 70 sightings down on previous years! I am not sure if the cat populations are at HUGE or worrying levels, certain individuals have huge territories so a spate of sightings could be down to one cat. In the UK, the only way we'd get to know close figures as to what's out there is if a majority of the researchers stopped spitting their dummies out and stopped squabbling.
