I have made occasional posts here about the Mammoth -
specifically about
(A) whether or not advances in science should encourage us to try and bring the creature back from extinction; and
(B) the possibility that isolated pockets of the beast might, incredibly, still exist. On the former point,
here's a good new article that makes a lot of sense about the issue of even contemplating resurrecting the hairy beast.
I for one have no problems with it. Most at Cryptomundo don't either (I would hazard to guess). I say put them in Alaska, Siberia or extreme northern Canada. Use elephant DNA to fill in the gaps. Not a perfect match, but I'd rather have a "near-replica" than nothing at all. Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!!!:)
