Signing Off

I'll be offline for a while from today, as I'll be driving to San Antonio,TX to speak for the city's MUFON group tomorrow night on the subject of my expeditions to Puerto Rico in search of the Chupacabras. Then, I'll be out of town for the Thanksgiving Holiday; so it's likely to be next weekend (or maybe even a week from today) before I'll be back online. If you're in the US, have a good Thanksgiving! And I'll catch up with all the latest news (and I'm sure there will be a lot with being offline for a week) on my return.

Hi Nick,

I hope you enjoy your time at the latest conference. I've been a fan of your work for some years now. I was wondering if you had the time, that maybe you would check out my new website. I'm a 20-year veteran of writing/illustrating comics for various companies like DC, Archie, Mad Magazine and Nickelodeon Magazine. In fact, it was for the recent Halloween issue of Nick Mag that I created my new character Lil' Bigfoot. I've been interested in mystery hominids and cryptic critters since I was a kid, so it's great to finally have a character that I can pour my interests in this into (along with a few jokes). For instance, the first seven-part strip for the series offers up my own explanation
about why the creature is so smelly and seems drawn to Lovers' Lane-type spots. It's a kid-friendly site with lots of links to articles and videos about Bigfoot and related topics. I even have a section on FAKE Bigfootage that I hope will be entertaining to kids. You can find Lil' Bigfoot at www.lilbigfoot.com. It's updated weekly. Hope you like it. Scott C.

Hi Scott
Many thanks! Yes, I'll definitely check it all out. I'm leaving imminently, but on return I'll have a good look at it all.
Best
Nick

Thanks Nick! I heard you on Culture and Contact a while back, and while I would love for you to capture a real, live Bigfoot for all to see, I tend to lean in the direction of tulpas (as you seemed to indicate you were, of late). I guess I've created my own lil' tulpa, in a way. Take care -- Scott C
