The CFZ Recommends...

Every so often here at the CFZ we're asked to write forewords to new books on various aspects of cryptozoology. And I figured that now would be a good time to bring to your attention two titles that I have provided forewords to: namely Hunting the American Werewolf by Linda Godfrey and Backyard Bigfoot by Lisa Shiel.

Ever since I was a little kid, I have been fascinated by tales of werewolves; and so when Linda - whose acclaimed werewolf book The Beast of Bray Road I had already read - asked me to write the foreword for Hunting, I immediately said yes.

This is one of those books that, if you are into some of the weirder and paranormal aspects of cryptozoology you cannot afford to miss.

The same goes for Lisa Shiel's Backyard Bigfoot, for which I also provided a foreword. Particularly notable about Lisa's book - which focuses on connections between Bigfoot encounters, UFOs and more - is that not only is she the author; but a first-hand participant in the story too.

I would urge anyone interested in the fringe elements and less well traveled areas of cryptozoology to dig deep into both titles. You won't be disappointed.

Linda Godfrey rocks! I love when she is on c2c live with Ian Punnett.
